Achieve peace of mind with our email protection. We do virus scanning and spam blocking at the server — at least 99% of incoming spam is blocked before it ever reaches your inbox!. And then we help you fine-tune your performance so your users encounter even less annoying junk. • Virus scanning: Antivirus protection is built in to our SMTP gateway. Our scanning engines are continuously updated for the most current protection available. The virus scanner also blocks many phishing schemes.
• Spam filtering: Most spam is blocked at the gateway so that it never enters your email inbox. We offer account-level filtering (only available to IMAP users) so that you can catch the few spam messages that do get through.
• SPF: Abiliba publishes SPF records for all the email domains we support. Our mail server checks SPF records for incoming email and strictly enforces the SPF standards by blocking messages coming from unauthorized locations. This adds a measure of protection against spammers, scams, and phishing schemes.
• Greylisting: Abiliba has integrated greylisting into our SMTP gateway. Most spammers run buggy and broken mail servers. If they don't follow the rules, their spam doesn't get into our system.
• And more: We are brutal about conforming to Internet standards. We use our own proprietary tests and filters to further weed out spam. Most of our proprietary filter stack has been in use for over five years. None of it is based on theories or hearsay; we rigorously test our filters!
