How Do I Change My Email Settings?

Changing your email settings is a complicated task that could easily make your email system inoperable.

It is best advised that if you do not know or fully understand the parameters you are wanting to change that you seek the advice of your IT department or an expert professional BEFORE attempting to make any changes.

PLEASE NOTE - many company issued computers have specific email settings that were pre-configured for you. If you add an email provider such as AOL or Earthlink (especially by using their Install CD!), you may run the risk of making changes to your email system that will make sending or receiving any email impossible!
